New Delhi: The state government will import 18 tankers from Bangkok to address the oxygen crisis in the national capital. Talking to reporters on Tuesday, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he is taking important decisions to address the shortage of oxygen in Delhi, there is a problem in getting the oxygen allotted by the Central government, there is a shortage of tankers.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that we are importing 18 tankers from Bangkok, demanded the Central government to provide an Air Force aircraft, the Delhi government is importing 18 oxygen tankers from Bangkok to address the shortage of tankers, importing 21 oxygen plants from France, all these ready to use plants will be installed in various hospitals. CM Kejriwal said 44 oxygen plants will be set up in Delhi in the next 1 month. The 8 oxygen plants to be set up by the Central Government will be set up by April 30, the remaining 36 plants will be brought by the Delhi government in the next one month, efforts are being made to address the shortage of oxygen in Delhi.
Earlier, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that 1200 ICU beds will be arranged in Delhi by May 10. Kejriwal said the panic mode in hospitals is beginning to end. Central and state government officials have worked together and tried to overcome the difficulties.
