Police achieves major breakthrough in Sagar Dhankhar murder case, another associate of Sushil Kumar arrested

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Sunday detained another criminal Gaurav in connection with the murder of wrestler Sagar Dhankhar at Chhatrasal Stadium in India's national capital. Gaurav was present at Chhatrasal stadium to support Sushil Kumar at the time of the incident.

The arrested criminal Gaurav is only 22 years old. He is a junior wrestler. He hails from Baparola village. Police have so far detained 12 persons in the case. On the midnight of 4th and 5th May 2021, Sushil Kumar and his friends allegedly beat wrestler Sagar Dhankhar a lot at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi, killing him. Surprisingly, Sushil Kumar himself made a video of the incident so that the rest of the people could know what could be the consequences of going against him.

It may be recalled that Sushil Kumar was recently shifted to Mandoli jail in Delhi. He was earlier lodged in Tihar jail. Police are currently investigating the case. The video recorded at the time of the incident can see 12-15 persons and 3 vehicles along with Sushil Kumar. One of them was also had a gun in his hand, identified as Prince. The police have taken Prince into custody.
