New Delhi: After making a splash at the Indian box office, now 'The Kashmir Files' is heading towards UAE. A few days ago, the director of the film, Vivek Agnihotri, revealed that his film has been banned in the UAE, but the reason behind it was unknown. Vivek Agnihotri has now revealed in a tweet on Twitter that the ban from the film has finally been lifted and 'The Kashmir Files' will release in UAE cinemas on April 7.

Vivek Agnihotri tweeted and wrote, 'Big win: Finally, the permission of the censor has been received from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Rated 15 passed without any deduction. The film is releasing on 7th April (Thursday). Now Singapore. Anupam Kher has also celebrated this news happily. Anupam Kher, retweeting the director's tweet, wrote, 'Har Har Mahadev'. Earlier this month, in one of his interviews, Vivek had talked about banning 'The Kashmir Files' in some countries. He had said that the film is banned in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He said that we cannot show this film. It is also banned in Singapore and Qatar. However, now the ban has been lifted in UAE and the film is ready for release.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the British Parliament has invited film director Vivek and his wife Pallavi Joshi (who also starred in the film) to speak about the plight of Kashmiri Hindus. While talking to the media, the director has confirmed the news.
