More than 37 people came to SFTS virus contact in East China's Jiangsu province in the first half of this year. After which 23 people were found infected in Anhui province of eastern China, and now this figure is increasing.
According to the media report, a woman with the virus first showed symptoms like fever, cough. After this, in the test, the hospital found that there is leukocyte in her body, and platelets have decreased. However, after a month of treatment, she was discharged from the hospital. The official newspaper Global Times has said that at least seven people have died in Anhui and Zhejiang province of eastern China so far due to the virus. The SFTS virus is not new to China. It was revealed in China in 2011, but the way its new cases are coming up in the midst of the Corona crisis, it has increased everyone's suffering. The researcher says that this infection can be spread to humans by insects like ticks sticking on the body of the animal, and then the speed of its spread further increases.
