We learnt that it has been casted by Anti Casting. The casting behind Runway 34, Bell bottom, Mimi,Cuttputlli, Rashmi Rocket etc…Aanya Rawal bagged this role after 18 days of auditioning after auditioning for 6 times. Aanya was really liked after her first audition for this We tried contacting her but couldn’t get in touch.

We couldn’t get in touch with her upcoming project. But here are quick five questions with Aanya Rawal

Q1. What was your first pay cheque and for how much? 

Ans. My first pay cheque was supposed to be in Delhi wherein I was in the background. All the background actors were paid 1500 rs. It was for a webseries. All of them were supposed to collect it the same day including me after the shoot. However I was running late for home so couldn’t collect it. So my first pay cheque became 6000 rs for a cameo I did in the show Maddam Sir. 

Q2. What was your first audition? 

Ans. It was for a show Ek Mahanayak Dr. B.R Ambedkar in March 2021 for Ambedkar’s wife Ramabai. The show was all set to take a leap.I was in Delhi and had auditioned it online. I was told to shift if I get selected. I didn’t know what to say so told them not to forward my option. Anyways it still airs on Andtv. After that I didn’t give a single audition for 7-8 months owing to personal problems. 

Q3.How did you get your first TV Break? 

Ans. I had auditioned for Channa Mereya from Delhi from home. I was not expecting this to happen as I had given many auditions but got no revert. When I came for Maddam Sir’s cameo, it was the same time I got to know that I’m shortlisted for Channa Mereya. I was told that I’m 99 percent selected. The official confirmation took a week.We had a lot of look tests and formalities but finally this show happened.

Q4.You mentioned that you got no revert from auditions. Do they affect you? 

Ans. I go by the formula of forgetting after giving the audition. If it is supposed to come, it will. We asking would not make the process faster or in our favour. So it’s better to remain calm. 

Q5. What are your further plans? 

Ans. I think I go by the flow. I audition for everything I feel is suitable and good. One thing I make sure is that whatever I take now should only be upwards or of the same level, not less than what I’ve done.
