In the last few years, terrorist activities have also seen a decline with the help of the government, police and security forces. The Home Ministry has also issued a letter to all central ministries and states informing them about the celebration of Anti-Terrorism Day.

Anti-terrorism pledge will be taken: Due to the holiday of the central ministries on May 21, the anti-terrorism pledge has been called for on May 20. Last year, due to the ever-increasing number of Covid (Corona) cases in India, there was an emphasis on following the Covid-19 rules during the swearing-in.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the purpose behind celebrating this day was to drive the youth away from the path of terrorism and violence. If the youth is able to keep away from this path, then the roots of terrorism will automatically end in the country.
