Protests by people in many parts are continuing against the citizenship law in the country. On Friday, 8 people died in a violent demonstration in Uttar Pradesh. Many Bollywood stars are also continuously raising voice against this law. Rallies are also happening in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Anupam Kher has targeted the artists performing on one side by tweeting and on the other side has appealed to the students to remain calm.
Anupam Kher released a video and said, 'Looking at the situation in the country for the last few days, some strange anxiety is happening in the mind. The mind is getting very distracted by seeing the scenes which are being seen through social media and television. We have all been students at one stage of our lives. All of us have participated in the movements and those movements have generally been against the government. I will not comment on student movements, but will also say that it is their right in independent India. But when such elements who want to harm the country, start participating in the student movements and harm the country for their selfishness, then all these will go on for the future of our country and the future of our students.
My appeal to all wonderful students of India - Protest is your right. But Protecting India is your duty.
