You must be aware that his wife and BJP MP Kirron Kher is a sufferer of blood cancer these days. Anupam has taken a break from all his projects to take care of her. Recently, Anupam rushed to the hospital with his mother, brother, and wife to take a second dose of corona vaccine. Shortly after all this, reports of his wife's ill health started going viral on social media.
Seeing all this, Anupam Kher tweeted and termed such reports as rumors. Not only that, but he also requested people not to spread negative news and everyone should be safe. Anupam tweeted: "There are many rumors about Kirron's health. It's all wrong. She's absolutely fine. Not only that, he took covid's second vaccination this afternoon. I request people not to spread such negative news. Thank you. Stay safe.'' Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also tweeted after Anupam Kher's statement. Shashi Tharoor wrote, "Kirron is fine, it's nice to hear. We look forward to seeing her well back in Parliament.''
While addressing a specially convened press conference on 31st March, Chandigarh BJP President Arun Sood had said, "MP Kirron Kher was diagnosed with the disease last year and is currently recovering after treatment. That's why she won't be able to come to the city (Chandigarh) for the next few days.''
