In the current episode, Anupama confronts Toshu and asks him how he could possibly act like this wasn't a big deal. He tells her that after realizing his error, he is now moving on with his life. When Rakhi enters, Toshu informs Anupama that since Rakhi didn't reveal the secret, neither should she. She dries her tears and tells her to act as if nothing just happened before leaving.

What took him so long, Baa queries? He claims that Anupama was giving him parenting advice. Anupama queries Rakhi as to how she could conceal such a thing. She apologizes and says that while she was initially very angry, seeing Arya's face made her want to shield Kinjal from the truth. She mentions Toshu's promise to act properly and refrain from doing it again. Anupama warns that they will betray her in this manner. Rakhi warns them that if they tell the truth, Kinjal's life will be ruined. She claims that the majority of the men are having affairs, and that Toshu is one of the few who are discovered.

She claims it's common to have an extramarital affair, but Kinjal isn't equipped to handle the truth. Anupama predicts Kinjal will take responsibility once she learns the truth. She is given the assurance that Rakhi won't allow things to spiral out of control. When Anupama leaves the house, she notices Toshu and Kinjal seated next to each other and is reminded of Vanraj's affair with Kavya. She believes she won't allow Kinjal to change into Anupama.
