One of the most loved filmmakers in South Industry, S S Rajamouli is popularly known for his blockbuster movies such as Baahubali: The Beginning, and Baahubali: The Conclusion. Now the filmmaker has decided to tie up with superstar Mahesh Babu for his upcoming movies. Rajamouli is at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada and there the filmmaker talk about this project.
Speaking about his upcoming movie with South Star Mahesh Babu. The filmmaker said, "My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots." Writer KV Vijayendra, father to Rajamouli, had previously told the outlet that he hasn't yet finished writing the script for the film, which will be shot against a jungle backdrop. He had also said that they will start filming for it by the first half of 2023, as Mahesh Babu is currently filming for a project with Trivikram Srinivas.
Mahesh Babu also speaking about his collaboration with SS Rajamouli said, "It’s a dream come true for me to work with him. Doing one film with Rajamouli garu is like taking up 25 films at once. It’s going to be physically demanding and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a pan-India film. I hope we break many barriers and take our work to audiences across the country."
On the work front, SSS Rajmouli has made various big-budget movies. RRR, his movies like Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali: The Conclusion, Eega, Magadheera, and Maryada Ramanna will also be shown. The fest will start on September 26.
