Anurag Basu is all set to bring an amazing cast together which consists of Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Pankaj Tripathi. The shooting of the film has started a few months ago. The title of the film is yet to be announced.

A few days ago, the makers announced that the film will hit the screens on January 24, 2020. However, the release date of the film is now pushed ahead. This untitled film helmed by Anurag Basu will now hit the screens on February 21, 2020.

When the actors had started shooting for the film, there were reports that it's a sequel to Basu's 2007 super hit film Life in a Metro. However, the Jagga Jasoos director said in an interview that it's not a sequel to his previous film. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted regarding it.

It's the first time that the trio will be seen together in a film. While Rajkumar and Pankaj have earlier shared screen space in 'Stree', and 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', but it's the first time that Abhishek and Aditya will be seen together working with Tripathi. This untitled film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Anurag Basu, Tani Somarita Basu and Krishan Kumar.

Meanwhile, after finishing the shoot of this untitled film, Anurag Basu will collaborate with Rajkummar Rao again for a romantic drama titled Imali. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut was also supposed to play the female lead in Imali. But the actress walked out of the film recently. Basu is yet to announce the new female lead for Imali.
