These days, there is a lot of discussion about the film 'Bulbul' directed by Anvita Dutt. The film does not use such features as long hair, inverted legs, blood hunger, a desire for revenge, to portray the woman in horror, or to portray her as a 'witch'. Yes, according to the information received, Anvita has used all these traits to tell the story of an unjust woman who takes a 'Devi' (Goddess) avatar to take revenge on those who snatch her innocence.
At the same time she stands for oppressed and abused women. With this, she says that she wants to change this definition through her thriller film 'Bulbul'. In fact, in a recent conversation with a website, Anvita said, "Little girls in India have to listen to this word a lot. When you walk in the corridor, your hair is open, you speak loudly then you are a 'chudail'." "Someone who is not understood, who does not fit in a box, then he becomes a witch. It is a lack of understanding and acceptance. Whenever you don't understand anything, you are afraid of it."
Along with this, let us also tell you that 'Bulbul' is a period drama, which is based on the story of 'Chudail' and it is released on Netflix on 24 June. It has been produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother and features Trupti Dimri, Avinash Tiwari, Rahul Bose, Paoli and Parambrata Chatterjee.
