By the way, the league has been postponed indefinitely and somewhere the BCCI is also exploring options for organizing. In India, the case of coronavirus has crossed two lakhs and in such a situation the organization of IPL is not possible.

Seeing the current situation, BCCI officials have also made it clear that this league can be organized on foreign soil also this year. Meanwhile, now the ECB has also said that UEA i.e. Dubai is the strongest contender for hosting the IPL. Emirates Cricket Board advisor Shubham Ahmed has said that the UAE also hosted the IPL in 2014. In the same way this time also we are contenders. He has said that the weather is favorable for cricket in the UAE in October and November.

BCCI has also been proposed by the Sri Lankan Cricket Board to host the IPL but no decision has been taken so far on this. The T20 World Cup to be held this year can also create bottlenecks. The T20 World Cup is to be held in Australia in October and November. However, due to Coronavirus, the ICC can also postpone the tournament.
