Recently news was circulated in the media stating that Apple is discontinuing two-year older iPhone models in India. It all started with Apple removing iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models from its website in India. While the company has accepted that the removal of the products from their website is legitimate, it has also stated that these products will still be available on the retail stores.

This means that Indian users will soon have five iPhone ranges to choose from including iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE and the iPhone 5s.

In line with the changes, the company has also upgraded the storage versions of the previous iPhone models namely the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus which no longer will be available in 16GB and 64GB storage versions and instead will come in 32GB and 128GB variants.
