Apple Reduces iPhone Prices in India After Budget Announcement

Apple has reduced the prices of its iPhones in India following the Union Budget 2024 announcement. The company has slashed the prices of its iPhone models, including the latest iPhone 15 series, iPhone 14 series, and iPhone 13 series.

The price cut comes after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a reduction in the basic customs duty on mobile phones and other devices from 20% to 15% in the Union Budget 2024. This reduction in customs duty is expected to make mobile phones cheaper in India.

The iPhone Pro and Pro Max models have seen the highest price cut, with reductions ranging from ₹5,100 to ₹6,000. On the other hand, the prices of iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15 base models have been reduced by ₹300.

Here are the new prices of the iPhone models:

iPhone 15:
128GB: ₹79,600 (previously ₹79,900)
256GB: ₹89,600 (previously ₹89,900)
512GB: ₹109,600 (previously ₹109,900)

iPhone 15 Plus:
128GB: ₹89,600 (previously ₹89,900)
256GB: ₹99,600 (previously ₹99,900)
512GB: ₹119,600 (previously ₹119,900)

iPhone 15 Pro:
128GB: ₹129,800 (previously ₹134,900)
256GB: ₹139,800 (previously ₹144,900)
512GB: ₹159,700 (previously ₹164,900)
1TB: ₹179,400 (previously ₹184,900)

iPhone 15 Pro Max:
256GB: ₹154,000 (previously ₹159,900)
512GB: ₹173,900 (previously ₹179,900)
1TB: ₹193,500 (previously ₹199,900)

iPhone 14:
128GB: ₹69,600 (previously ₹69,900)
256GB: ₹79,600 (previously ₹79,900)
512GB: ₹99,600 (previously ₹99,900)

iPhone 13:
₹59,600 (previously ₹59,900)

iPhone 13 SE:
₹47,600 (previously ₹47,900)

This price reduction is expected to make iPhones more affordable for customers in India. Apple's decision to reduce prices comes after the government's move to reduce customs duty on mobile phones. Other smartphone manufacturers are also expected to follow suit and reduce prices in the coming days.
