Moradabad: Recently a surprising incident has come to light from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. Seeing a Muslim girl shopping with a Hindu youth here, the Muslim men got enraged and beat her up. A Hindu man was beaten up and his clothes were torn. The girl has lodged a complaint with the Uttar Pradesh Police.
On the basis of the same FIR has also been registered. The incident took place on Sunday (May 21, 2023) in Bhojpur area. Some shopkeepers of the area and their companions are included in the assault. The police has intensified the search for the criminals. Actually, the said Muslim girl had gone to the market to buy clothes. She went to the market on foot, where she met a familiar Hindu youth from her own village. The girl told him that she would also go to the village with him on his motorcycle. While she was shopping, the young man was waiting outside. During shopping, the girl also started taking his advice. This enraged the shop owner and some Muslims present there. The first name of both was asked and as soon as it was confirmed that the young man was a Hindu, the fight started.
In the video, the assailants can be heard saying, "Are Muslim boys dead?, who are roaming with Hindus?" The girl kept telling repeatedly that the youth was her neighbour, but the assailants continued to assault and misbehave with him. Moradabad SP (Rural) Sandeep Kumar Meena has confirmed the arrest of a criminal. Shane Alam, Jaane Alam and Hafeez have been named as criminals. Along with molestation, a case of assault has also been registered. The criminals have also threatened the Muslim girl that if she is seen with a boy in the future, the consequences will be bad.
