Varanasi: In Sawan, if you are planning to have darshan-pujan at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, then you will now have to pay more money. In Kashi Vishwanath temple, a new rate list has come for worship, Abhishek and darshan in the month of Sawan. On Monday of Sawan, the ticket for darshan will be Rs 750 per person, while the price of this ticket has been kept at Rs 500 on other days other than Monday.

In Mangala Aarti, there will be a ticket of Rs 1000 on normal days, while on Monday of Sawan, the price of this ticket will be Rs 2000. Tickets for mid-day prasad aarti, sapta rishi aarti, and makeup prasad aarti will be 500 rupees for the whole month. At the same time, one Shastri will have to spend 700 rupees in the whole month of Sawan, while on performing Rudra Abhishek from 5 Shastri, the Abhishek can be done for 3000 rupees on Monday of Sawan and 2100 rupees on the rest of the day. If the devotee wants to do special makeup on Monday in the month of Sawan, then he will have to spend 20,000.

In the same Kashi Vishwanath Dham, if you are caught eating paan-gutkha or spreading filth, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 500. In view of the complaints of filth being received from the visitors every coming day, the temple management has started this campaign. A fine has been collected from two persons for throwing milk packets on the premises by the vendors of the temple on Tuesday. The Chief Executive Officer said that the monitoring is also being started by the temple administration through cameras so that if any employee, officer, visitor, or policeman spread filth on the premises, a fine of Rs 500 can be imposed immediately if caught.
