India's Arjun Kadhe and his Austrian teammate Alexander Erler have also won the doubles title of the Bangalore Open 2 ATP Challenger tennis tournament. Hmm, the top-ranked pair defeated the third-ranked Indian pair of Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan 6-3, 6-7(4), 10-7 in the title match on Saturday.
This is the second Challengers doubles trophy of the year for Arjun Kadhe while Erler has also won the Challengers title for the first time. Although Kadhe and Erler were playing together for the first time, their performance is not going to make any difference and the pair showed tremendous game and have also won the title.
Prior to which top-order Kadhe-Erler also registered a 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 win against the all-India pair of N Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan in the semi-finals. Top-ranked Aleksandr Vucic defeated Croatia's Borna Gozo 7-6(5), 6-3 in the singles semi-finals of the Bengaluru Open 2 ATP Challenger tennis tournament. The Australian is set to face Bulgaria's Dimitar Kuzmanov in the final, who defeated third seed Frenchman Enzo Koukad 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
