Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor agrees that an actor's career in Bollywood is defined by hits and misses as it helps assess the star's qualifications through the business of movies. However, he says that not only one actor is responsible for the ups and downs. Arjun told the media, "When you are looking at the qualifications of an actor you have to assess how his film has performed. Also, I think if you are a good actor, you are more defined than your performance".
Continuing, he said, "Sometimes you are a very good actor but you make wrong choices. You may be the right actor who attracts people but they are disappointed with the work they are doing right now as an actor alone cannot decide hits and misses". Arjun says that there are many elements that can or may not act in favour of an actor. "Actors are sometimes let down by their director. Sometimes the script does not move forward in the way it was conceived. And an actor sometimes disappoints a film by not doing a good job with the content given to them".
"The definition of an actor for an outsider is definitely a hit and a miss, but within the community I would say there are many other situations," he said. Arjun's next movie is "Sardar Ka Grandson", which is slated to release on Netflix today, May 18. 'Sardar Ka Grandson' is the story of The American played by Arjuna, who wants to fulfil one of his grandmother's wishes.
