'Big Boss' fame and actor Armaan Kohli has been in jail for the past seven months due to a drug case. In this case, Armaan Kohli had also recently appealed for 14 days' interim bail under the NDPS Act. On Tuesday, a special NDPS court in Mumbai also heard Armaan Kohli's interim bail plea. Meanwhile, the court has dismissed Armaan's plea.
Armaan Kohli was arrested in August last year. This time Armaan Kohli had appealed for bail to meet the ailing parents but after hearing the arguments of the defence and prosecution, special judge A A Joglekar dismissed the actor's bail plea. After his arrest, Arman had sought bail in October last year as well, but even then the court refused to grant him bail.
The NCB had also raided Armaan Kohli's Juhu residence. Meanwhile, the NCB had recovered some quantity of drugs from Armaan's house after which he has been taken into custody in connection with the drug possession case. The NCB says that 1.2 grams of MD was recovered from Kohli's house while a large number of narcotics was seized from the co-accused in the case. Kohli's arrest was made after the custodial interrogation of the main vendor Ajay Raju Singh. The NCB had raided Armaan Kohli's Juhu residence. Meanwhile, the NCB had recovered some quantity of drugs from Armaan's house, after which he was arrested in connection with the drug possession case.
