Chief of Army Staff Narwane reaches Ladakh, says 'Situation is serious and critical at LAC'

New Delhi: Situation on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is extremely tense and India-China forces stand face to face. In view of the tension, Indian Army Chief General MM Narwane is on a two-day visit to Ladakh, where he is reviewing all preparations. Speaking to the press today, General Narwane said that the situation on the border is very delicate and serious.

Army Chief General MM Narwane said that the situation on LAC right now is delicate and serious, but we are constantly thinking about it. We have taken some precautionary measures for our safety. I hope that with the deployment we have made, we will be able to maintain our security. Army Chief Narwane said that after reaching Leh yesterday, I discussed with officials at different places and inquired about the situation.

The army chief said that the morale of the soldiers is very high, they are fully prepared to face every challenge. I can say with confidence that our soldiers will illuminate not only the Indian Army but also the name of the country. Let us tell you that Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane has gone on a two-day tour to Ladakh to take stock of the preparations for the operation amid tension with China on the border. General Narwane reached Leh in the early hours of Thursday and held discussions with senior officials present there. He churned out a strategy to thwart China's strategic efforts.
