NEW DELHI: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has made a major statement on Pakistan-China-occupied PoK and Aksai China. He said that in 1947, Jammu and Kashmir became a part of India. After that, the Army reached here. India has full authority over the State. Now we have to decide how to withdraw Aksai China and pok to political leadership. The Army is ready to obey any order.

The political leadership of the country has to decide how to achieve the Poke and Aksai, which is not under our control. Whether it is a diplomatic route or some other way, it is for the Government to decide. He said this in his address after paying homage to the martyrs at the Kargil war memorial in Dras.

Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa and Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh were also present along with the three Army Chiefs who remembered the martyrs. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said, guns and youth cannot walk together in Kashmir. Whoever raises a gun against the army in Kashmir will go to the grave and his gun will come to us. However, this is not the only solution.

It is our endeavour to make the youth here move towards employment. Follow the path to your bright future. Even now, the Army is trying to reach out to the misguided youth so that they can give up the path of terror. The help of the society is being taken for this purpose. The elite people of the society are talking to the clerics.
