Jammu: Terrorist infiltration going on in our country continuously for the last several days has created havoc in the hearts of people. Everyday, hearing the news of someone's death and a big incident from somewhere, there is increasing panic in someone's mind. Everyone is troubled by the continuous terrorist attack, where the Indian soldiers are constantly fighting with their lives and India is protecting the country. Nevertheless, due to these incidents, a variety of questions are arising in the minds of people. Eight militants have been killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian in south Kashmir. 8 militants were killed by security forces in southern Kashmir within the last 24 hours. Talking about the month of April, then the soldiers have been successful in killing 26 terrorists. Overall, the soldiers deployed in the valley are proving to be the time for terrorists.

Terrorists were hiding in Goripora village: According to sources, security forces got information about hiding of terrorists in Goripora village of Avantipora at around 3 am on Saturday, based on which 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) of Army, CRPF and Jammu Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Kashmir Police conducted a joint search operation while cordoning the area. During this operation, terrorists opened fire on the soldiers, which was given a befitting reply and the encounter started. In this encounter which lasted for about four hours, two terrorists were killed. Confirming this, Vijay Kumar, IGP, Jammu Range of Jammu and Kashmir Police, said that two unidentified terrorists and one of their associates were killed in the encounter. He said that weapons have also been recovered from the slain terrorists.

Third terrorist incident in South Kashmir in 24 hours: This was the third terrorist incident in South Kashmir in the last 24 hours. It was abducted by former terrorists from Shirpora Kulgam on Friday evening from their house. As soon as the information was received, the police also shared information with the CRPF and the Army, after which security was increased at the block in the vicinity. Meanwhile, the car was asked to stop at a block near Hirpora and during this period, the terrorists fired. The security forces also retaliated and killed two unknown terrorists. Confirming this, IGP Vijay Kumar said that two police personnel were also injured during this period. Here also weapons were recovered from the terrorists.
