Army kills 3 terrorists in the encounter, Two CRPF jawans injured

Srinagar: Militants and security forces were killed during a cordon and search operation in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. In Srinagar, security forces killed three terrorists during an encounter in Batamalu area. At the same time, a woman was killed in the encounter and two CRPF Jawans were badly injured.

According to information received from sources, security forces launched a search operation at around 2.30 pm on receipt of secret information about the militants hiding in the Paradise area of Batamalu. The militants then started firing at the security forces, in response to which the Indian Army also opened fire. According to sources, a woman who died in this encounter has been identified as Consular Riaz. Besides, two CRPF Jawans were also injured. They have been admitted to the hospital. At present, the operation of the security forces is still continuing.

Let us tell you that since the government has given free hand, the army is continuously engaged in overthrowing terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir. In this order, the terrorists are being surrounded by continuous search operations and are piling them up in the encounter.
