The incidents of explosions or firing in Jammu and Kashmir are always heard in which many civilians were badly affected. In these incidents, many people lose many of their limbs for a lifetime, while many have to go to other big cities or states for treatment, which may not be possible for all. In view of this, the Indian Army, along with a Delhi NGO in Poonch district, is taking a major step for these victims.

As per the information received, the Indian Army, along with an NGO from Delhi, is going to organize an artificial limb measurement camp in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir for the people who lost their limbs in the blasts and cross-border firing in the mines, in which artificial organs are being made free of the victims. On this, an NGO official said, "We are going to provide artificial organs to such people for free.”

Trying to move the work further: It has revealed that an official said, "We have been providing free artificial organs in different parts of the country for nearly 35 years. When we came here to the border area, we saw that with the bomb blasts, people burst to their ears. So, we are also working on improving the ability to listen. At the same time, we are also trying to make the artificial hands that we give to the victims, they can catch things properly and work as the other hand of the person.”
