By profession, Arpit Sharma is a qualified Chartered Accountant, but don't think that his awareness of worldly affairs is limited within a cubicle. The 26-year-old from Noida has always kept himself up to date with societal issues and scenarios. During the lockdown, Arpit tried his hand at satirical comedy and raising awareness about current issues in a witty manner. He was an instant hit with the public & his content was well received by the people. Arpit works closely with the popular fact-checking news agency- Boom Fact, where he hosts a show called "Fake se Badhkar Fake". On this show, Arpit busts the top 5 fake news of the week through a comical lens.

These days Arpit is busy covering the Farmer's Protest at Singhu Borders, he spends his time actively trying to understand the various points of view involved in this situation.In Arpit's signature tongue in cheek fashion, his inspiration comes from media outlets that run under-researched baseless fake news. Fake news is a huge source of spreading hatred, and tackling the problem of fake news is easier when done in a light-hearted manner. 

The satirical culture US' late-night comic shows, has always fascinated Arpit and has influenced his talents. Managing an office, being a CA is no joking matter, but Arpit balances his profession and passion very efficiently. Since his early days as a CA, he has always managed his time systematically, his planning skills help him tremendously as he is able to execute all his roles smoothly and tirelessly. For his future, Arpit envisions being a host of a comedy show where he can bring socially-aware celebrities and talk about current affairs in a blunt yet witty manner.
