New DelhI: The third-generation Amaze sedan from Japanese automaker Honda will go on sale in international markets the following year. India will also receive it. The car will have new tech-based features inside of a redesigned cabin and a revised exterior. It will be powered by a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 90 horsepower under the hood.

The Honda Amaze will undergo its first significant redesign in nearly five years in 2024. The vehicle will lack a diesel engine and share its chassis with the company's upcoming midsize SUV. The market would become more competitive if the company set a competitive price. It will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Tata Tigor in India.

The Accord-inspired design of the third-generation Amaze will include a sloping roofline, a long hood, a chrome grille, a wide air vent, and stylish LED headlights. ORVMs, angular body lines, and stylish alloy wheels will be on either side of it. There will be a raked windscreen and wrap-around taillights available. It will be smaller than 4,000mm in length.

A 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine coupled to either a CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission may provide power for the new Amaze. The mill produces 110Nm of torque and 90hp of power in the current model.

A roomy five-seater interior, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, keyless entry, and a multifunctional steering wheel are expected to come standard on the third-generation Amaze. A standalone touchscreen infotainment system with support for the newest connectivity features should be included. Six airbags, ABS, EBD, crash sensors, ISOFIX mounts, and a rear-view camera may all be used to protect the passengers.
