Actor Arshad Warsi recently spoke out about being replaced by Salman Khan as Bigg Boss' host and by Akshay Kumar for Jolly LLB 2. Arshad Warsi is riding the success of Asur 2 at the moment. Before Salman took over the show, Arshad hosted Bigg Boss and portrayed the title role in the first Jolly LLB movie.
For Jolly LLB 3, Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar are slated to collaborate. Originally, according to him, this was the plan: Arshad would play the lead role in the first movie, while Akshay Kumar would play the lead role in the second. "Jolly LLB 3 is currently in production, and Akshay and I will work together in it. According to the original plan, I would appear in the first movie while he would direct the second, said Arshad Warsi.
In the meantime, Arshad Warsi said that Salman Khan would eventually replace her as Bigg Boss host, “As for Bigg Boss, I could not do the next season as I had gone to London for a shoot. But I do believe Salman Khan is the best host the show could have. No one could have done that job better than Salman. The reality show needs a ‘Dabangg’ like Salman.”
Arshad Warsi revealed to Amar Ujala that he and Akshay Kumar are prepared to collaborate on Jolly LLB 3.
Arshad recently admitted to Bollywood Hungama that "many projects" for which he was considered ended up casting other actors at the "last minute." I know I can do a lot more, and I know I could have done a lot more, he said. All actors experience that, but I do believe that I am underutilised. I had a tonne of project options. I was supposed to work on a lot of projects, but they were suddenly assigned to other people. I understood they shouldn't have done that because I could have completed the task much more effectively. I am, therefore, both undervalued and underutilised.
