2500-year-old Egyptian mummy Telangana State Museum gets new life

Hyderabad: Telangana celebrates its Formation Day on June 2 every year. Telangana means a place spoken in Telugu. Whose history is about 2500 years old. Which a few years ago became a separate state from Andhra Pradesh. On June 2, 2014, it became a separate state. Coming to the history of Telangana, around 230 BC, many kings, including Satavahana, ruled here.

After that Kakatiyas ruled here, it is considered to be the golden age of Telangana. Later, Telangana was ruled by the Nizams. After the British left India, Usman Ali Khan was the last nizam of Telangana. He was urged to be a part of the Indian Union territory, but refused. The Indian Army then captured the state and the Nizam had to surrender

However, for a long time, telugu-speaking people wanted a separate Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh. The resolution was passed in both parliaments in 2013 during the tenure of Manmohan Singh.  Telangana was declared a separate state on June 2, 2014 and Shri K Chandrasekhar Rao became the first CM and E S L Narasimhan became the first Governor of the state.
