Kargil Vijay Diwas: Pak kneels down in front of 400 brave soldiers of country

The brave sons of Bah in the Agra district have irrigated the country's independence with their blood. Born in the soil here, the Ranbankura forced Pakistan's army to kneel in the 1962 wars of China, 1965 and 1971. Even in the Kargil war, about 400 Ranabankurs of Bah had bravely washed out Pakistan. Seven sons including Naib Subedar Lyak Singh of Korath village, Dharamvir Singh of Malupur, Kunwar Singh of Basere Qazi sacrificed their lives for the country.

Inspired by the sacrifices of these Kargil martyrs, the youth of these villages are working day and night to join the Army. The gallantry awardees are encouraging these youngsters.  In addition to the sacrifice of Jitendra Singh of village Khadar, Lyak Singh of Korath in the Battle of Kargil, 400 Ranabankurs of the Yamuna-Chambal ravine had given water to Pak. In addition to 6 jawans of Rudmuli, 7 jawans of Korath, 400 heroes from villages like Umraitha, Basauni, Navali, Kwari, Changoli, Fatehpura, Simrai, Jomard Pura, etc.  After which the village is associated with patriotism, faith in Korath. The Kargil martyrs here worship Naib Subedar Lyak Singh as a villager, deity. Whether it is a national festival or a Teej festival, the villagers gather at the Martyrs' Memorial and receive prasad.

As soon as Kargil Vijay Diwas is remembered, every youth of Yamuna-Chambal belt of Bah's chest swells with pride. Hundreds of youth here are sweating day and night to get admitted. In Jammu and Kashmir, retired soldier Jaiveer Singh, who won the Gallantry Award by killing three terrorists, is encouraging the youth to join the Army. They are motivated to practice hard by stating the standards of army recruitment.
