Itanagar: Corona is wreaking havoc in Northeastern states.  Total corona cases in Arunachal Pradesh reach 16,513 after the detection of 4 new positive cases. According to the latest Covid19 bulletin released by the Arunachal Pradesh health department,  the new cases were detected out of the 315 samples collected. A total of 55 people have died of Covid19 infection in Arunachal Pradesh so far. The death rate stands at 0.33%.

21 more patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. .As per the bulletin, a total of 16,206 people have recovered from the disease. The recovery rate stands at 98.14%. Arunachal Pradesh currently has 252 active Covid19 cases. 

The other Northeastern state Nagaland's Covid19 positivity rate continued to remain at 10%, which is one of the highest in the country. It said the weekly positivity rate in the state stood at 15%. Total corona cases in the state reach 11,676.
