Itanagar: With 132 new cases of Coronavirus infection reported in Arunachal Pradesh, the number of infected people in the state has increased to 3,877. A senior official of the Health Department has given information in this regard. Of the 132 new cases, 31 have been registered from the Capital Complex area, 27 from West Kameng, Papumpher and Tawang, 12 from East Siang, 8 from Tirap and 7 from East Kameng, the official said.

Giving information, State Monitoring Officer Dr. L Jampa has stated that barring nine cases, all others are infected without symptoms and have been admitted to Corona care centers. The official said, "The newly infected patients have included 9 military personnel - 7 from East Siang, 1-1 from West Kameng and Tawang, while 28 paramilitary force personnel. Of the 28 personnel of the paramilitary force, 20 have been recorded from West Kameng, 3 Lower Siang, 2 Tirap and 1-1 from West Siang, Upper Siang and Siang. ''

More than two thousand corona cases reported in Telangana, 10 killed

Jampa said that two policemen from Tawang have also fallen victim to the virus. The official said that 45 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after recovering on Saturday. There are now 1,116 under-treatment cases of corona in Arunachal Pradesh and 2,754 have recovered so far while seven patients have died.
