New Delhi: The odd-even rule will remain in force in the national capital Delhi from November 4-15. For this, the Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi has completed preparations. Let us tell you that this time those breaking the rules will have to pay a fine of Rs 4,000. However, in 2016, the fine amount was Rs 2,000. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, while issuing instructions related to the Audi-Even Rules, had said that, 'The Delhi Cabinet Minister and the CM will also have to follow the rules of Odd-Even'.
According to CM Kejriwal, the President, Vice President, Prime Minister and other ministers of the Central Government will remain outside the purview of this rule. The Delhi government has taken this step in an effort to control pollution and has made special rules to drive vehicles under it. Only vehicles with registration number ending with the OD mark will be allowed on the streets of the national capital on the date of the odd (odd) points of the month.
On the same date, only vehicles with registration number ending with even digit will be allowed to run on the date of even (even) digit. Along with this, the Delhi cabinet has decided to hire two thousand additional buses on Thursday to ensure adequate public transport from November 4 to 15 in the days of the Odd-Even scheme.
