AHMEDABAD: After a few months in Gujarat, Congress raised questions about Arvind Kejriwal for the massive campaign of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the proposed assembly elections. Congress spokesperson Dr Ajay Kumar, while addressing a press conference in Delhi, has alleged that the Punjab government does not have money to pay salaries, but within two months, 36 crore rupees of the people of the state were spent on the advertisement of AAP in Gujarat. Arvind Kejriwal was questioned by the press in the Town Hall in Gujarat about this, then he avoided the question and said, 'Congress is over now, stop taking its questions.'
In fact, Congress had alleged that Kejriwal has said in Gujarat that his government has given employment to one million people in Delhi, but the truth is that not even a thousand people have got jobs in Delhi. He claimed that in the last eight years, the Kejriwal government did not build a single government hospital in Delhi. The hospitals which were built during the tenure of Sheila Dikshit are still running. Similarly, not a single new flyover has been built in Delhi. He said that the Kejriwal government claims that the system in Delhi's government schools is better than any private school. Congress asked that if government schools are so good then why are children running towards private schools?
Kejriwal, however, did not respond to any of the Congress's allegations and went on to make election promises. At the town hall in Ahmedabad, Arvind Kejriwal promised the people that the Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, and officers would not allow anyone to indulge in corruption when his government came to power in Gujarat. Every penny of Gujarat will be spent on the people. No one has to pay bribe for government work. Will stop the black business of all politicians and put paper leakers in jail.
