CHANDIGARH: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the AAP and the chief minister of Delhi, will launch his ground-breaking national campaign, "Make India No. 1," on Wednesday from his birthplace in Hisar, Haryana, mobilising 130 crore Indians.

In a statement, he added, "We all need to work together to make India No. 1 and we need to establish an alliance of 130 crore Indians. I will visit around the country to further this cause.

You can participate in the Make India No. 1 project by calling 9510001000 and leaving a missed call.

Kejriwal said, "we will have to deliver quality education free of cost to every child of the nation and create world-class schools all over India" to ensure the campaign's success.  "We may have lost time, but we have finally began the cause of reforming schools. Once India joins hands for this cause, no one will be able to stop us." He said, "I fail to understand how such a small measure will be of any help in a country with 10.50 lakh government schools," adding, "If we modernise 14,500 schools every year it will take 7-80 years to fix 10.50 lakh schools." The prime minister announced the "modernization" of 14,500 government schools.

Kejriwal asserts that no nation in the world has achieved development status without ensuring that its citizens receive high-quality education.

The Delhi Chief Minister would visit to all the states during the campaign to meet with voters.

"My tour will begin on September 7. My birthplace in Hisar, Haryana, will be the first site I travel to. Siwani, a village close to Hisar, is where I was born. I will begin my religious pilgrimage in my hometown. After that, I'll travel to other states and try to persuade people to join this cause."
