New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national president Arvind Kejriwal on Monday expressed happiness that cheap electricity has become a political debate issue at the national level. He said that Delhi has shown that votes are also received on this issue. In a statement on the news of subsidy on electricity by Maharashtra government on the lines of AAP government of Delhi, Kejriwal has said that 24-hour cheap electricity should be provided in every situation in 21st century India.

Kejriwal has tweeted that, I am happy that cheap electricity has become a matter of debate in the national politics. Delhi has shown that it is possible to provide free or cheap electricity. Delhi has shown that votes can also be got on these issues. In 21st century India, electricity should be available 24 hours at a cheaper rate. Let us tell you that the counting of the elections held in Delhi on February 8 will be held on February 11.

Earlier, Manish Sisodia, who also holds Delhi's Deputy CM and Education Department, said on Sunday that education has emerged as the biggest electoral issue in the Delhi Assembly elections, it is like a dream come true for me. Sisodia wrote in a tweet that, "I had a dream five years ago ... I thought that elections in our country would be on the issue of education. I am happy today that this dream is now being fulfilled. Tomorrow the people of Delhi Education was the biggest issue, especially among the youth.
