New Delhi: A video of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video, Arvind Kejriwal is saying that the house of Mukesh Ambani, one of the country's biggest industrialists, is built on waqf board land and said that if his government was in Maharashtra, his (Ambani's) house would have been demolished.

While addressing a gathering of Muslims, CM Kejriwal is saying in this video that, 'Whenever you need it... Kejriwal and Delhi government are completely with the Waqf Board. The richest man in this country inside Bombay, it is said that his house is built on the property of the Waqf Board. Not only this but after this Kejriwal asks the people present there, 'Am I saying wrong?' Delhi CM further says that 'There is no courage in the government there, who should do something in it. If we had a government, they would have demolished his (Ambani's) property. Whenever the Waqf Board needs anything. The Delhi government is with the Waqf Board.

In this video, you can also hear the dictatorial mindset that broke the Waqf Board land and Mukesh Ambani's Antilia. Actually, this video is going viral after three years because these days the Waqf Board is again in the headlines. The Waqf Act made under the Congress rule has given so much powers to this board that the land on which it lays hands in India, that land should become theirs. The latest case has come to light from Tamil Nadu, where an entire village of Hindu farmers and even a Hindu temple there has been declared as its property by the Waqf Board. In such a situation, Kejriwal's statement that he is with Waqf with all his heart is showing that the Aam Aadmi Party will also help, far from taking any action against Waqf Board grabbing land like this. Let us tell you that the Waqf Board is the third largest land owner in the country, at present the Waqf Board has 8 lakh acres of land in the country and it is increasing continuously.

At the same time, if we talk about Mukesh Ambani's house, then the Bombay High Court had sent a notice to the Waqf Board in 2017 regarding his residence 'Antilia'. The high court had asked the Waqf Board to clarify its stand on Ambani's house. The notice was issued following a petition filed against the illegal sale of the property. In 2005, the property was bought by Ambani-owned Muffin-Antilia Commercial Pvt Ltd. The land earlier belonged to the Karimbhoy Ibrahim Khoja Orphanage Trust, in which orphaned Muslim children were assisted. In this case, apart from this petition, many cases were filed, which were heard in the Bombay High Court.
Abdul Mateen, a resident of Jalna, had read about the sale of the property in newspapers and filed a petition in 2007. His petition was tagged with 66 other petitions on the same issue that was heard in the Bombay High Court at that time. The matter is currently pending in the Supreme Court.
