Raipur: A bus carrying medical staff of Chhattisgarh AIIMS overturned on the Raipur-Jagdalpur highway on Tuesday morning. One staff lost his life in the accident, while 14 people were injured. The condition of one of them is said to be serious. At present, all the injured persons have been admitted to Jagdalpur Medical College Hospital in Dimrapal. The names of the deceased staff and injured persons are yet to be revealed. The accident took place in the Bhanpuri area.

According to the news received, the travel bus was coming to Jagdalpur on Tuesday morning with medical staff from AIIMS in Raipur. There were about 15 people on the bus. The bus had reached near Jugani NH-30 when the speeding bus suddenly hit the roadside pole. After that, uncontrollably broke the railing of the bridge and fall into the field. Due to this, a medical staff died after being crushed under the bus.  

The medical staff in the bus was coming to see Chitrakot Waterfall and Bastar Dussehra in Jagdalpur. About 50 kilometres before this, they met with an accident. It is being said that the accident occurred due to the driver dozing off. However, the exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. The medical staff who died is said to be a doctor of AIIMS. However, it has not been confirmed yet. In fact, people from all over the country as well as the world arrive every year to see the 75-day-long Bastar Dussehra. After two years due to Corona, Bastar Dussehra is once again celebrated. The most special ritual Kachhangadi has been performed a day ago. In this, 6-year-old girl Pihu of Panka caste came to Kachhan Devi. After that, she allowed the royal family to celebrate the festival of Bastar Dussehra by swinging on a swing made of vine thorns.
