NDA ally Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Thursday informed that Arvind Sawant from his party will take oath as a minister. “From Shiv Sena one leader will take oath as a minister. Uddhav ji has given Arvind Sawant's name, he will take oath as a minister,” ANI quoted Sanjay Raut as saying.

Raut further added that all allies will be given one berth each in the new government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bhartiya Janata Party president Amit Shah held a marathon meeting on Wednesday ahead of Thursday's swearing-in ceremony to discuss who will get what berth and position in the government.

For a second term, PM Narendra Modi is all set to take oath with a new council of ministers on Thursday. A multi-layered security arrangement is in place in the national capital Delhi.

The new NDA government is likely to give representation to all allies and also showcase its strength in states where it has made significant inroads such as West Bengal.
