New Delhi: Memories of Ramanand Sagar's famous religious serial 'Ramayana', which came on television in the 80s, are still alive in people's minds. The way people liked this serial can be gauged from the fact that long before the serial started, people used to sit in front of the TV. The characters of Ramayana also left a deep impression in the hearts of the people. The characters of Ram and Sita became so famous that on the calendar found in the market, these characters were shown as the real Ram-Sita. Similarly, Ravana's character was also very popular among the people. But, do you know where Arvind Trivedi who played Ravana in Ramayana is now and what he is doing?

Upendra Trivedi, elder brother of Arvind Trivedi, resident of Indore city of Madhya Pradesh, has been a noted theater artist in Gujarat. Arvind got inspiration to act from his brother. Arvind Trivedi says that while the audition for the Ramayana serial was going on, he too went to audition for the role of Kevat. Ramanand Sagar was so impressed on seeing Arvind's acting and body dealings that he chose him to play Ravana. This character became very popular on TV and even today people have not forgotten it. However, most of Arvind Trivedi's time now is spent in devotion to Lord Rama and he serves the pilgrims.
