Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a press conference on cruise drugs has termed all allegations made by the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) as baseless and malicious. NCB said in a press conference that the raids and actions conducted on Cruise on October 2 were in accordance with the rules and all the accused were arrested only after investigation.

NCB DDG Gyaneshwar Singh said that as per rules, NCB had arrived on a cruise with witnesses. So far 9 independent witnesses have joined the case. NCB didn't know them before the October 2 raid. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs case. Since then, the situation, in this case, has become ardent. NCP leader Nawab Malik held a press conference on Saturday and levelled serious allegations against the NCB and BJP. Not only that, Malik termed the NCB raid as fake and said BJP leaders were omitted in the case.

In response to the allegation of releasing some of the people planted by the NCP, NCB said, 6 people were let go after interrogation. While 8 people were arrested. People left during the investigation can be called again if needed. After subsequent interrogation and disclosures, 10 more people have been arrested. So far 18 people have been arrested in the case.
