The Sub-Division Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Odisha's Cuttack district has given a verdict to the state's famous actress Varsha Priyadarshini to vacate the house of her actor and Lok Sabha MP husband Anubhav Mohanty. At the same time, the court has also ordered the MP to give financial assistance of Rs 30,000 to his wife Varsha on or before the 10th of every month. It may be recalled that the divorce proceedings between the star couple of the state, Anubhav Mohanty and Varsha Priyadarshini, are going on in the Odisha High Court.   

After gaining a name for himself in the world of Odissi movies, Anubhav Mohanty got married to the popular actress of the state Varsha Priyadarshini in the year 2014. After this, both the actor and the actress had tied the knot of a husband-wife relationship. However, after a few days, the rift between their family relationships began.  

Anubhav Mohanty had filed a petition in the court for the first time in 2016 against his wife Varsha, in which Anubhav Mohanty wrote, "2 years of marriage have passed, but my wife Varsha Priyadarshini does not allow sexual relations and a natural married life. There was always disappointment after serious attempts to establish physical intimacy with the rain. '' 

On the other hand, Varsha also accused Anubhav in her petition of denying her the right to become a mother. At the same time, Varsha alleged that the husband Anubhav is a habitual alcoholic and has many affairs (relationships with other women).
