Condemning the attack on a temple in Delhi, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi said on Tuesday that the culprits should be prosecuted and convicted in a time-bound manner. The attack on any worshiper is an attack on the plurality and diversity of our beloved country. "This incident of sabotage is highly condemnable and I demand that the culprits be brought to book and be held guilty in a time bound manner," he said. "

The battle to park a scooter in old Delhi's Chawari Bazaar area took a communal turn when the temple broke down on Monday.  Meanwhile, stone pelting was carried out at the temple which created tension in the entire region on Monday. In another tweet, Lok Sabha member Owaisi from Hyderabad alleged that the NDA government has reduced the funds allocated for the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme. He said, it is an important programme to fight the infant mortality rate.

Necessary schemes like ICDS require adequate funding to deal with infant mortality. But the Modi government reduced ICDS funds and continued to make inadequate allocations. Why should our children not deserve basic early care and nutrition, he said.
