Hyderabad: People have taken to the streets against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) across the country. Protests are taking place in protest against it. In this sequence, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi also joined in and targeted the BJP government. He called the CAA anti-Muslim and demanded the removal of the term religious minority.

Owaisi, while participating in the protests held in Darussalam on Saturday, urged people to wave the country's flag tricolor outside their home country if they are against NRC and CAA. This will send a message to the BJP that they have made a wrong and black law. He said that the tricolor on our homes would be a message to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP that the message and constitution of Mahatma Gandhi and Ambedkar are still alive. This is not a fight for Muslims, it is a war to save the country.

Asaduddin Owaisi has said that not every Muslim is a terrorist, Muslims are those who have played an important role in building India. Taking a dig at the Modi government, he said that he calls us traitors, but let me say that I am an Indian from birth. You are questioning us after 70 years of independence. I warn Modi's supporters that they too have to be in line.
