Kolkata: There has been a political uproar after West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee's statement on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Where the BJP attacked Mamata Banerjee for this statement. At the same time, traditionally anti-RSS political parties like AIMIM, Congress and CPM have also opened a front against Mamata Banerjee.
But, BJP, a pro-RSS party, also targeted the TMC supremo and said that we do not need any certificate from Mamata Banerjee. In fact, Mamata Banerjee had recently praised the RSS while attacking the BJP. Mamata had said that I don't think RSS is so bad. There are some people in RSS right now, who don't think like BJP. One day this patience will break. The BJP was enraged by this statement of Mamata, but the opposition was stunned by this statement. Because, opposition parties, like Congress, CPM, and AIMIM, have always been accusing RSS of being anti-national in their statements.
Responding to Mamata's statement, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said that Mamata Banerjee will fool the people of India and Bengal. She is praising RSS, RSS wants Hindu Rashtra. Owaisi alleged that the history of RSS is full of anti-Muslim hate crimes. Owaisi further said that Mamata had also defended the BJP government inside the Parliament after the Gujarat carnage. Hopefully, the Muslim faces of TMC will praise him for his honesty and consistency. Owaisi said that in 2003, Mamata had called RSS a patriot, in return, the Sangh had called Mamata Durga.
