Lucknow: Even though the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are yet to last longer, the political turmoil among parties have intensified. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi is visiting in Azamgarh today in an attempt to consolidate his political ground in Purvanchal. Om Prakash Rajhar, president of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SUBSP), will also be present during his visit to Purvanchal.

Asaduddin Owaisi has chosen Azamgarh constituency of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav to launch the mission UP 2022 campaign. However, no one will hold a meeting in Purvanchal, but the political motive of AIMIM is evident behind choosing the Jaunpur route to go to Azamgarh from Babatpur airport in Varanasi.

On the lines of Bihar elections, small parties are trying to solve ethnic arithmetic in Purvanchal in the forthcoming UP assembly elections. That is why, after joining several parties in the participatory Sankalp Morcha led by Omprakash Rajbhar, Owaisi will now interact with party workers at Phulpur via Varanasi to Jaunpur, Didarganj, Mahul, Azamgarh, Purvanchal.
