Asan Bird Sanctuary of Uttarakhand is built on the Asan Barrage located at the confluence of Yamuna and Asan rivers. It is about 50 kilometers away from Dehradun. The best time to see native birds is during the monsoon season, which starts from July and lasts till the end of September.
