Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone‘s first song of the film Pathaan Beshram Rang face huge criticism. Besharam is a dance number romancing each other in exotic locales in Europe. However, they are facing huge criticism because of the color of Deepika’s Dress.  Asha  Parekh was one of the most popular actresses of her time. The actress in a recent interview opens up on about the criticism of  Deepika’s dress and various other things.

The actress talked about how people reacted as people call her   'retired' actress. She said, “If people have to write something negative and sensational, then such things keep happening. That's why they write retire in front of my name. To whom do I go to complain, no one listens to me. Now I can't go and shut everyone's mouth, can I? I have given so much to this industry, if I get this in return, then it is acceptable. As for me, I focus on the way I want to live life.”

She further talked about Deepika’s dress criticism and said,'This is very wrong. A film is a film whose primary motive is entertainment. Now an actress has worn orange or her name has become something like this, so are you banning her? It doesn't look good. Our industry is dying. Films are not running at all, the situation is already very bad and on top of that these boycott and banned trends, it causes damage. The industry itself will end. People are not going to the theaters just like that. If films keep flopping, how will another film be made?.”

She also talked about the ruckus regarding the color of bikini. The actress said,'There was no ruckus on the bikini, here questions are being raised about the orange colored bikini. I think our brains are shutting down now. We are becoming very narrow minded, which is wrong. Bollywood has always been a soft target.”

Pathaan, marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan also has Jawaan and Dunki in the pipeline.
