Ashadi Ekadashi Parana Muhurat 2024
Parana, the ritual of breaking the fast, can be performed between 05:35 am and 08:20 am on 18th July. Dwadashi Tithi, the day following Ekadashi, will end at 8:44 pm on the same day.
Ashadi Ekadashi Puja Vidhi
Devotees observing the Devshayani Ekadashi fast should begin their day early with a bath. They should then clean their place of worship, install an idol of Lord Vishnu, and perform the Shodashopachar Puja. This involves offering yellow clothes, yellow flowers, and yellow sandalwood to the deity. Incense, a lamp, and flowers should also be offered during the aarti (prayer ritual).
Recite this mantra to praise Lord Vishnu:
"Supte tvayi Jagannath Jagatsuptam Bhavedidam. Vibudhe tvayi buddha's world, all the living beings."
After completing the puja rituals, it is customary to feed Brahmins before consuming food or fruits.
