New Delhi: Congress is now engaged in imposing allegations on each other regarding their performance in elections held in many states. Recently, Congress leader Kapil Sibal gave an interview to which party leader and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has now responded. Recently he has spoken of not bringing the internal issues of the party to the media. He said through a tweet, 'Congress workers have been hurt by Kapil Sibal's statement. He does not need to bring internal issues of the party to the media.'
There was no need for Mr Kapil Sibal to mentioned our internal issue in Media, this has hurt the sentiments of party workers across the country.

He also said, 'Congress has seen many bad times. The party went through bad times in 1969, 1977, 1989 and again in 1996, but the party made a tremendous comeback on the basis of its policies, ideology and confidence of leadership. In bad times, the party has emerged every time. The UPA formed the government in 2004 under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi. We will overcome the situation this time also.' He further said, 'There are many reasons for losing elections. Every time the party has shown courage in leadership and position and we have overcome the bad times. In bad times, the party has stood firmly together and that has been the reason for recovery. Even today, Congress is the only party that can keep the country united and walk on the path of continuous development.'
Kapil Sibal had said in an interview given to a famous website, "People of the country, not only in Bihar, but wherever the by-elections were held, assuming the Congress is not an effective option. This is a conclusion. The alternative was RJD in Bihar. We lost all the by-elections in Gujarat. Even in the Lok Sabha elections, we did not win a single seat. In many seats in Uttar Pradesh, Congress candidates got less than 2% of the votes. I hope the Congress introspects. "
